Production Process of Glass Wool Sandwich Panels
Melting: The main and auxiliary materials (such as silicates, phosphates, etc.) are mixed in a certain proportion and stirred evenly. Then, they are placed in a high-temperature kiln (usually 1300-1500℃) to melt them into a liquid.
Fiberization: After cooling, the mixture is fed to a centrifuge. Under centrifugal force, the molten mixture is spun into fibers. Resin and a small amount of water are added simultaneously to form glass wool.
Shaping: The glass wool is placed in a mold and compressed with hot air to form a preliminary sheet of a certain shape and thickness.
Curing and Cutting: The preliminary glass wool sheet is cured by heating to remove moisture and solvents, improving its performance and service life. Finally, it is cut to the required dimensions.
