Description

Rockwool composite panel is a composite board made of galvanized steel and PVC film as the facing layer, with a rock wool core filling the middle. It offers Class A fire resistance, sound insulation, and thermal insulation, among other properties.

Rockwool composite panel utilizes innovative structural designs such as recessed hole-connecting block snap-on connections and mortise and tenon joints to overcome the low installation efficiency and poor connection stability of traditional board materials, making it particularly suitable for space-constrained ship cabins.

Product Advantages

1. Fireproofing

The structural design of a rock wool core wrapped in metal panels achieves Class A fireproofing standards. Extended fireproof siding, using composite rock wool, can withstand temperatures of 800°C for over one hour without failure.

2. Joint Stability

The panels feature a four-sided mortise and tenon joint structure, with raised strips on the front and matching grooves on the back, allowing for front, back, and left/ right connection. Select models feature dual fastening through a spring-loaded retaining plate and a sliding rod locking mechanism, increasing lateral load-bearing capacity by 3.2 times that of traditional adhesive bonding.

Main Applications

1. Fire Compartmentalization

50-100mm thick composite rock wool panels are used between the upper and lower decks, along with a triple-fixed roof profile structure, to meet cabin fire compartmentation requirements.

2. Ceiling Engineering

The ship's ceiling features a concave design with four curved sides on a metal base. The interior is filled with rock wool and seamlessly installed using T-shaped hanging connectors.

3. Special Compartments

The galley and bathroom utilize stainless steel-faced composite rock wool panels. A nano-coating enhances corrosion resistance to 2.5 times that of ordinary panels.
